​At Nurture and Flourish OT, I, Emma Clee take the protection of your data very seriously. This privacy policy relates to you as a user of this website and/or as a user of Nurture and Flourish OT services and is to comply with UK General Data Protection Policy.

How data is collected:

  • Data is given to Nurture and Flourish OT by you or your organization via email, website, post, telephone, video call and/or documentation.

  • Data may be provided by yourself (including information about your child), your organization or Emma Clee.

 

What data is collected:

  • Data collected may include name, date of birth, address, contact details, IP address, diagnosis, medical history, next of kin, documentation, records, payment and invoice details, and any other information you may feel important to your situation, and in compliance with RCOT, HCPC and IAIM requirements.

 

What is data used for:

  • The necessary provision of services by Nurture and Flourish OT.

 

Keeping data secure:

  • Electronic data is password protected.

  • Electronic data is stored on a secure server.

  • Any paper documentation is locked securely.

  • Sensitive documents where individuals can be identified will be sent in the most secure form that clients are able to receive them and agree to, ideally via egress but not exclusively.

  • The most secure video call method available to the client and agreed with the client will be used, ideally but not exclusively, Microsoft Teams

  • Data can only be accessed by Emma Clee for use in the provision of Nurture and Flourish OT services.

  • Access to the functionality of the website can be accessed by the web designer in order to make structural changes.

  • Payment documentation and information will be password protected and stored securely by Freeagent accountancy package and Natwest Bank online banking.

  • Information will be passed to statutory agencies as needed to ensure safety of you or your child, legal request, criminal activity and in relation to RCOT, HCPC and IAIM requirements.

 

Your rights:

  • The right to access your data.

  • The right to correct your data if it is inaccurate or incomplete.

  • The right to request deletion or removal of your data.

  • The right to request moving, copying or transferring your data.

  • The right to object to use of your data when being used for legitimate reasons such as child protection, legal dispute or request from statutory agency.

It is important that data held about you, your child or your organization is accurate and current. Please keep your data correct by informing Emma Clee of any changes.

Data relating to medical records of children who undergo treatment with Nurture and Flourish OT will be stored securely until their 25th birthday. All other data will only be held for as long as reasonably necessary in relation to accounting, taxes, complaint and any other legal or professional requirement.
