Through nurture we flourish
Baby massage is a lovely way to develop your bond with your baby through touch. Feel nurtured yourself whilst learning a series of massage strokes and soothing holds for your baby. Massage oil, handouts and homemade cake provided. Courses are provided on demand at a mutually convenient time and location.

Through 5 sessions over 5 weeks you will learn massage strokes and soothing holds that can help with relaxation, stimulation, interaction and comfort. Each session lasts around 1 hour.
Private small group sessions for you and your friends can be provided in my own home in Woking, Surrey, for up to 5 babies with their parent or main carer. Minimum group size is 3.
Alternatively, group sessions can be held in your own home with your friends and can be larger if room allows. Minimum group size is 3.

1:1 courses are also available. A 1:1 course of 5 sessions can be provided to teach you in your own home, or if preferable my home.

Who is baby massage for?Baby massage is for all babies from birth up to 1 (while all babies benefit, it is easier the less mobile babies are!) All parents and primary caregivers may attend.

What are the main benefits of baby massage?There are certainly many, but the main ones include: Helping baby to feel securely attached Reduced crying and emotional distress Increased levels of relaxation Development of body awareness Relief from wind, colic and constipation

What will I gain as a parent/caregiver through taking baby massage classes?The sessions have many benefits for you too, which include: Feeling closer to your baby An increased understanding of your baby Feeling the relaxing benefits of giving your baby nurturing touch

What is included in a typical baby massage class?You will learn the IAIM (International Association of Infant Massage) routine, colic routine, gentle movements, touch relaxation and have opportunity for informal parental discussion. The course draws from both Indian and Swedish massage techniques and incorporates principles of yoga and reflexology. The sessions aim to be relaxing for you and your baby, where you both feel nurtured. Sessions are baby/parent friendly and welcoming. Babies are babies so do not worry if your baby cries, needs feeding or changing.

What do I need to bring to a session?Refreshments of cold drinks and homemade cake will be provided along with massage oil and handouts. You only need bring a towel for baby to lay on, a small blanket, and your baby!
Group courses cost £65 (per adult with baby) for a total of 5 sessions

Please note:
All sessions are payable before commencement of the course.
Due to the nature of the classes, cancelled/missed sessions by parents cannot be reimbursed or rebooked. In the unlikely event of the instructor being unable to carry out a session parents will be reimbursed.

Apologies but due to the nature of the sessions and to allow you to focus on your babies, siblings are unable to attend.
